Luong le Phuong, spokesperson for the Vietnam Agricultural Development Agency, said that in the first four months of this year, Vietnam’s exports totaled more than $1 billion. Compared with the same period last year, it increased by 8.4%. In April alone, global sales reached $300 million. From January to April, the total amount of aquatic products exports reached 1.19 million tons, an increase of 7.4% over the same period last year. Phuong explained that aquatic exports could maintain steady growth in April, as the depreciation of the US dollar stimulated imports of Vietnamese aquatic products from other European countries.PRE:Strong exports stimulate Vietnam to develop salmon farming
