On June 3, at the Basha Fish Breeding Experimental Base in Yingshan County, Hubei Province, the first batch of 60,000 tailed fish fry had been eaten in large quantities. After 12 years of hard work, breeding has finally succeeded. It is reported that this is the first time in the country to successfully breed the fry, filling a gap in China's aquaculture industry.
According to reports, the Basha fish is native to the Meigong River in Vietnam and belongs to the national secondary protected species of Vietnam. The fish has a high taste, high nutritional value, and is a raw material for high-grade cosmetics. Therefore, the price per kilogram in the domestic market is as high as 120 yuan.
